The UYM Apprenticeship turns passion for Christ and youth into practical, ministry-ready skills — preparing young adults for any entry-level youth ministry role.
This program prepares apprentices for a lifestyle of ministry: living missionally within their chosen vocation. It focuses on developing young adult leaders to work effectively with urban youth, families, schools, and communities.
Essentially, it’s about “Developing Spiritual Leaders Among Urban Youth.”
Throughout the apprenticeship, training, activities, and hands-on experiences will focus on three major growth areas:
Grow Personally
Become a biblically based leader who lives with integrity, humility, and self-awareness.
Grow Professionally
Gain ministry philosophies, tools, and strategies to live out your calling with impact.
Grow Spiritually
Become an impassioned and disciplined servant leader, anchored in your relationship with Jesus Christ — the foundation for all personal and professional growth.
